Maryland State
2025 WCR President’s Message:
Our 2025 leadership teams represent the growth of women in leadership positions internationally. With that growth, we bring a wealth of power.
Women leaders bring power through Empathy and Emotional Intelligence. Our natural ability to lead with empathy creates a more inclusive, people-centered business environment.
Women leaders bring power through our ability to foster Collaboration and build strong teams and networks.
Women leaders bring power through Resilience and Adaptability. We are experts at overcoming adversity, exemplifying resilience and adaptability when necessary.
Finally, Women leaders bring power through Visionary Thinking and Innovation often bringing fresh perspectives that lead to positive change in business.
Your 2025 State Executive Board Challenges all members this year to embrace the importance of supporting each other
We encourage each of you to work together to mentor the next group of Women’s Council of REALTORS leaders over the next year. It is the mentorship of experienced women leaders like yourselves that will support, develop and uplift the next generation of female leaders.
We challenge you to continue the work of Building a strong Networks: Your local networks open doors for our colleagues and developing REALTORS to find support and community. Share the value of Women’s Council as you interact in your daily businesses and through valuable programming that attracts members.
Finally, we call on each of you to use your positions to advocate for Equality. Encourage those in the industry to advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in their business practices.
As you move into and through 2025, take charge of your role in Women’s Council of REALTORS, embrace the leadership opportunities it presents, and believe in your ability to succeed as a leader and as a member.
In the words of Dolly Parton:
“If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, then you are an excellent leader.”
I challenge each of you to be role models, mentors, and advocates for other women aspiring to leadership roles. Be inspirational and leave your own legacies for future Women’s Council of REALTORS leaders to aspire to.
Warmest,
Tina M. Hyatt
2024 & 2025 Maryland State President
