2025 Women's Council Membership Renewals
$5 Discount Expires Tomorrow, November 22!
The time for membership renewals is here! All members have been emailed and mailed their 2025 Women's Council membership invoice. Be sure to remind members that renewing online by this Friday, November 22, 2024, will earn them a $5 discount on their national dues.
As a Women's Council leader, if you need talking points to encourage your local members to renew, feel free to reference our national benefits page. Retaining members is an important key to your network's success. Plus, with the launch of our new wcr.org in 2025, members will have a whole new suite of membership perks to enjoy!
Members have until December 31, 2024, to pay their 2025 membership fees and maintain their Active status.

We know you have exciting holiday events and installations happening! We encourage you to invite potential members to join you. Let them know that by joining Women's Council now, their membership dues will cover 2025, and the rest of 2024 will be free! You can partner this with any localized incentives you might have to reach potential new members before the year ends.

Transitioning into 2025
Leadership Teams
As we close out 2024, please remember that 2024 and 2025 leadership teams should work closely to transfer knowledge and create a seamless transition for your members.
2025 Leaders officially took their positions as of November 12, and staff is working diligently to get the new officers Admin and Billhighway access.
Microsite Updates
Your microsites will be updated with your 2025 Leadership Teams by the beginning of December. If your microsite does not reflect your 2025 leadership team by December 9, then National does not have your officer reporting form.
With your microsite updates, please remember that each leadership team profile picture is automatically pulled from their wcr.org member profile. Each officer will need to upload their own image at 150 x 150 pixels for the image to populate. If your photo is not this exact size, it will not appear on your microsite. If you need a free tool to resize your image, please refer to Canva.com.
Last, please remember to have the 2025 President update the President's Message on your microsite home page.
State Network Business Plan Template
Looking for the first steps in creating a business plan? Check out page 57 in the Network 360 workbook. Tailor the plan, create the structure, and define the mission, vision, and objectives to ensure your team stays organized and focused this year. If you still need assistance, reach out to your National Liaison.
Budget Deadline
Local and State budgets are due to your National Liaison by 1/1/2025. Just a reminder, your National Liaisons are Adam Tripp, Western Region; Taffy Maurer, Central Region; Cathy Heshmat, Eastern Region.
2025 Affiliation Agreements - Deadline December 31
In case you missed it, we released the 2025 Affiliation Agreements at the Network 360 Leadership Conference last week. This is an annual document that the 2025 Presidents must fill out by December 31, 2024. Please review and sign at your earliest convenience.

End of Fiscal Year Best Practices by Billhighway
We recommend the steps outlined below so that your network has an accurate budget for the year and no transactions are left outstanding or unapproved. This will also help your network prepare for tax filing.

Review/Export the Income Statement and Balance Sheet in the Financial Reporting in Billhighway. We recommend these reports to help with filing taxes or to provide to your CPA.

Review Billhighway Income & Expense Chart of Accounts and reclassify as you see fit.

Review Fund Balance/Retained Earnings account and reclassify as you see fit.

Review any uncoded prepaid card transactions.

Review any unapproved ‘Send Money’ transactions and Send Money – Incoming Revenue transactions.

Review Outstanding Checks if applicable.
Please note that any outstanding checks will be cancelled automatically after they are a year old. -
Review Uncleared Online Bill Payments if applicable.
Please note that any Online Bill Payment checks will be cancelled after 180 days old.
Also, just so you are aware, the 2024 Balance Sheet end balance will not carry over to the beginning balance on the 2024 Balance Sheet until the books are closed at a national level.
