A Notice to Leaders Regarding AI

A friendly reminder that should you intend to record any of your committee or other meetings, permission must be obtained from all participating parties to record the event as some states have two-party consent states, and the ability to record legally depends upon the reasons to record. Security aspects may come into play as well. This includes the use of AI assisted tools such as otter.ai.

While AI is a fantastic new and convenient tool it comes with some legality that needs to be followed. Please exercise care and diligence when exploring these new tools, especially when implementing beyond your own individual activities. Welcome to the AI revolution!
