The weeks leading up to today, A time to ponder on the year
Reflect upon a chance car ride, That changed my life
A roller coaster journey it’s been, Encouragement of friends no doubt
The guidance of leaders abound, They saw skills I didn’t realize
Cheered me thru turbulent times, Embraced me with open arms
They step to catch me when I fall, I look around and I see those smiles
Beaming with pride in their eyes, Cheering leaders, delightful faces
Vibrant and enthusiastic always, We have a legacy to build
Show our value, our true worth, Let’s just be kind
Let’s do our part, Let’s not take the day for granted
