Leadership Pathways
There are many ways to play a leadership role in the Women’s Council, not all of which require that you hold a leadership position. Women’s Council supports your personal leadership journey, offering opportunities to grow and contribute in ways that align with your unique skills and goals.
The Women’s Council is dedicated to creating more meaningful opportunities for member engagement. We’re excited to introduce an enhanced Leadership Identification & Development (LID) process, newly structured committees, and specialized Masterminds—all designed to foster leadership within our organization.
Women’s Council offers a Leadership Institute to cultivate leaders who have shown strong leadership potential within their local and state networks. The program aims to build a national network of industry experts who are actively engaged in advancing the Council’s mission.
Membership Development + Education
Membership development—encompassing both recruitment and retention—is too big a task for just one individual. Every member of the local network plays a role in supporting the efforts to attract and retain members.
By offering impactful business events tailored to the specific needs of your network, you not only sharpen skill sets but also generate interest that drives both member retention and growth.
Our PMN Designation is the flagship REALTOR® business leadership designation designed to give you practical tools and provide you with access to a nationwide peer network of business leaders.
Women’s Council prioritizes education by offering a wide range of learning opportunities through webinars, workshops, or national conferences. These programs are designed to accommodate busy schedules and different learning preferences, ensuring members can continuously develop their skills and stay informed about industry trends.
The Leadership Institute training program is only available to members and is built on core pillars that equip members for impactful leadership. These pillars include: Team Building, Presentation Skills, Conflict Resolution, Storytelling, Strategic Thinking, and Empowering Others, ensuring well-rounded development for LI graduates.
Impact of Women
Women play an essential role in shaping the future of the real estate industry and the communities we serve. With women representing 66% of the U.S. residential real estate workforce, their perspectives are crucial in policy development and decision-making. However, despite their significant contributions, women in real estate still face challenges such as a persistent gender pay gap and underrepresentation in leadership roles. Addressing these issues is vital for ensuring a more equitable and inclusive industry.

Council Corner Newsletter
Council Corner serves as the official voice of the Women’s Council. It features articles on current events in the real estate industry, profiles of influential members, and the latest practical tips and techniques for growing your business. This digital newsletter is emailed to Council members twice a month.
